Dear parents,
You are cordially invited to be a partner in your child’s education.
Stay-Tuned: Ask your child what he or she is studying, and look in your child's homework folder and homework planner every night. The homework folder is where you will find important notes that are sent home, as well as any homework that needs to be completed.
Ask Questions: If you have any concerns or are wondering why something is happening, please feel free to call or email us at any time. We welcome all concerns, ideas, and feedback that affects your child or our classrooms. If something is not working, we are more than willing to talk.
Homework: You should expect that your child will have some type of homework everyday. You will always find the homework assignments written in a homework planner which will come home everyday. We encourage you to set up with your child a scheduled time for homework. Students should be able to do most assignments independently, but do help if it is completely necessary. If you notice that your child is not able to do an assignment on his or her own, please send a note to us on the assignment. We will contact you if your child is not progressing as expected.
Snack: All students may bring a nutritious snack and a bottle of water to school everyday. The snack must be peanut-free and dry. Students will be eating snack around 10:30 everyday.
Arrival Time: We also would like to request that students arrive at school no later than 9:25. We have so much to learn in third grade and it starts right after announcements!
Sincerely,
Team 3
